Regular sports massage can be a tremendous supplement to serious training, allowing you to train a high level but much more safely. Sports massage uses specific deep tissue massage techniques to help the body recover from the physical stresses of training and competition. It helps prevent the build-up of lactic acid and is an effective aid to recovery from soft tissue injuries. During the massage the client is unclothed beneath a towel. Only the area of the body being worked on is uncovered.
