Manual Lymphatic Drainage

The lymphatic system has a vital role in maintaining good health – it delivers nutrients to the cells and carries away excess water and toxins. It is located just beneath the skin. Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is very gentle technique where light pressure is used to clear excess fluid and to unblock the lymph nodes, clearing toxins. The light circular pumping movements have a soothing, relaxing effect. During massage clients are unclothed beneath a towel. Only the area of the body being worked on is uncovered.
